The 2026 BYD Seal 07 DM-i was recently officially launched in four configurations. This facelift features comprehensive upgrades in appearance, interior, intelligent driving, powertrain, and safety, demonstrating its strong product competitiveness.
Exterior: Ocean Aesthetics, Simple and Dynamic
The 2026 BYD Seal 07 DM-i features a bold and innovative design language inspired by the family's ocean aesthetics. Red has been replaced with four exterior colors: Cloud Sea Gray, Warm Smoky Tea, Atlantis Gray, and Obsidian Black. The front fascia has been updated with a simple closed grille, with new headlights and vertical air ducts flanking it. Below, a large trapezoidal air intake creates a simple, dynamic, and sporty look. Dimensions measure 4995mm in length, 1900mm in width, and 1495mm in height. The minimum turning radius is 5.6m. The vehicle's length and width have been slightly increased due to adjustments to the front and rear bumpers, but this has minimal impact on interior space.
Interior: Technological and Practical, Upgraded Comfort
The 2026 BYD Seal 07 DM-i features a modern, family-style interior design, combining a sense of technology with practicality. The four-spoke steering wheel, 10.25-inch full LCD instrument panel, and 15.6-inch floating central control screen create a strong sense of technology. The hand-shift design makes operation more convenient, while a 50W wireless charging panel, cup holders, and 26 storage slots are all designed for everyday convenience. The in-car system uses DiLink 100, with voice integration and DeepSeek. Mobile phone connectivity covers major brands, and NFC car keys are standard across the entire model. Comfort features include standard driver's seat ventilation and heating, and newly added rear seat ventilation/heating and a refrigerator for significantly enhanced comfort.
Intelligent Driving: Standard Across the Range, Powerful Functionality
Intelligent assisted driving is a key feature of the upgrade. The 2026 BYD Seal 07 DM-i comes standard with the "Eye of God" assisted driving system across the entire range. The base model is equipped with the DiPilot C - Assisted Driving Three-Eye Edition (DiPilot 100), which enables full-scenario intelligent voice control, hands-on vehicle connectivity, 3D vehicle control, and other functions. A variety of premium themes provide a personalized dynamic interactive experience. The top model is equipped with the DiPilot B - Assisted Driving Laser Edition (DiPilot 300), which supports city navigation assistance, high-speed navigation assistance, and all-scenario parking assistance. BYD also promises to fully cover the safety and damage of all DiPilot vehicles in the Chinese market during parking assistance scenarios, providing consumers with greater peace of mind.
Power: High Efficiency, Low Consumption, and Worry-Free Range
The 2026 BYD Seal 07 DM-i features BYD's fifth-generation DM technology and a high-efficiency 1.5T/1.5L engine. Its NEDC fuel consumption is just 3.2L/100km, and its combined range on a full tank and full charge is up to 1,585km. Two battery pack sizes are available, 17.6kWh and 29.46kWh, with CLTC pure electric ranges of 135km and 230km, respectively. It supports DC fast charging with a maximum charging power of 69kW, charging from 30% to 80% SOC in just 20 minutes. It also supports a maximum external discharge power of 6kW, meeting various usage scenarios.
The 2026 BYD Seal 07 DM-i comes standard with 12 airbags across the entire range, along with over 30 active and passive safety features, including driver fatigue monitoring, automatic emergency braking (AEB), automatic dimming of the interior rearview mirror, Sentry Mode, and Clairvoyance. All models are also equipped with TSC (High-Speed Tire Stability Control), enabling hands-free control in the event of a tire blowout at 140 km/h. All but the base model are equipped with the Yunnian-C Intelligent Damping Body Control system, which effectively mitigates road feedback, suppresses body roll and pitch, and enhances handling stability.
