Recently, Beijing Off-road officially announced that the highly anticipated BJ30 Traveler will be officially launched on September 27. Pre-sales of this car started at this year's Chengdu Auto Show, with a total of six models launched. It is in the same competitive range as the Haval Big Dog and has attracted the attention of many consumers.

Five-star ring front
The BJ30 Traveler's appearance is highly recognizable. It features the family's signature five-star ring front fascia, a distinctive closed front grille, and intermittent LED daytime running lights connected to the LED lights within the semicircular headlights on either side, creating a unified design that is both stylish and technologically advanced. The wide front bumper, accented with silver decorative panels, adds a touch of ruggedness and sophistication.
"Square box" shape
From the side, the "square box" shape exudes a hardcore off-road aura. Hidden A, B, and D pillars, paired with a sturdy C-pillar, create the illusion of a floating roof. A straight waistline stretches across the body, while front and rear fenders protrude from the vehicle. Thick black wheel arches and two-tone five-spoke wheels further enhance the car's hardcore off-road attributes.
Three-dimensional rear design
At the rear, the high-mounted brake light and rear window wiper are embedded within the vehicle. The longitudinally arranged taillights complement the black panel running through the center of the trunk and tailgate. The thick rear surround is accented with a silver rear guard, creating a three-dimensional overall look. It's worth noting that the new BJ30 Traveler boasts a 25-degree approach angle, a 30-degree departure angle, a 21-degree breakover angle, and a maximum ground clearance of 215mm, providing excellent passability.
Interior: A Blend of Technology and Comfort
Entering the car, the BJ30 Traveler's interior is imbued with a sense of technology. The 10.25-inch full LCD instrument panel paired with a three-spoke multi-function steering wheel offers easy operation and a rich display of information. The 14.6-inch multimedia touchscreen in the center of the center console is striking, while the continuous air-conditioning vents below create a visually spacious interior. The center tunnel features knob-style function controls and a paddle-style electronic shift mechanism, creating a refined and practical design.

The BJ30 Traveler offers a choice of a 1.5T pure gasoline engine and a 1.5T hybrid powertrain. The hybrid model utilizes the Magic Core Deep Hybrid Electric Drive (DHEV) architecture, integrating range-extending and hybrid technologies, and employs a unique three-engine, four-wheel drive, six-mode hybrid drive system. The system delivers maximum power of 301kW and maximum torque of 685Nm, accelerating from 0 to 100km/h in just 6.59 seconds. Its combined fuel consumption under WLTC conditions is a mere 6.45L/100km, achieving a perfect balance of powerful power and efficient fuel efficiency. The pure gasoline version is equipped with a 1.5T combined with a 7DCT powertrain, offering smooth power delivery and meeting everyday driving needs.
