On May 21, BAIC officially launched the BJ40 Extended-Range Long-Range Edition, positioning it as a "super extended-range intelligent hardcore SUV." The new lineup includes three variants. Centered around the three core strengths of technology empowerment, safety as protection, and dual-purpose capability for both urban and off-road driving, the BJ40 Extended-Range Long-Range Edition ushers in a new era of long-range hardcore off-road SUVs.

The BJ40 Extended-Range Long-Range Edition continues the classic boxy off-road design language, with body dimensions of 4790/1940/1964 mm and a 2760 mm wheelbase.
