On April 19, the first model of Chery Group's premium EXEED 3.0 era-the EXEED EX7-was grandly launched at the Zhuhai International Convention and Exhibition Center. Positioned as a "high-performance luxury five-seat SUV," this new model centers around the concept of a "land-based private jet." It seamlessly integrates captain-level performance and handling, an aircraft-grade intelligent concierge system, escort-level all-dimensional safety, and first-class luxury comfort, delivering an unprecedented travel experience for users.
Exterior Design
A Fusion of Technology and Aesthetics
The EXEED EX7 adopts the brand's latest family design language, featuring a uniquely crafted split headlight setup. The upper full-width LED light strip echoes the lower full-width chrome trim, creating a smooth and tech-forward visual effect.
The roof-mounted LiDAR not only enhances the vehicle's futuristic appeal, but also provides strong support for its intelligent driving capabilities. Along the side, the full and sculpted body lines are complemented by hidden door handles, which improve both aesthetics and aerodynamic efficiency.
At the rear, the full-width taillight design continues, paired with a driver-assistance indicator light and a crossover-style rear bumper, delivering excellent recognizability.
In terms of dimensions, the vehicle measures 4,988 × 1,975 × 1,710 (1,702) mm, with a wheelbase of 3,000 mm, placing it firmly in the mid-to-large SUV segment. The spacious five-seat layout ensures ample interior room, providing a comfortable ride for all passengers.

Additional highlights include galaxy-style ambient lighting, a 9.2L intelligent heating/cooling refrigerator (-8°C to 50°C), a 24-inch W-HUD, and the "Boya Sound · Elegance" 23-speaker 2880W 7.5.4.2 surround sound system, delivering a luxurious and comfortable in-cabin experience.

The EXEED EX7 offers both range-extended (EREV) and pure electric (EV) powertrain options to meet different user needs.
Range-Extended Version:
Equipped with a 1.5T range extender system, delivering a maximum engine output of 115 kW. It comes with two battery capacity options (39.816 kWh / 39.9168 kWh), providing pure electric ranges of 182 km and 203 km, respectively. With a full tank and full charge, the combined range exceeds 1,500 km. The system achieves a thermal efficiency of 45.79% and runs on 92-octane gasoline, ensuring cost-effective operation.
Pure Electric Version:
Built on an 800V high-voltage platform, it features a dual-motor setup (front and rear), with the front motor delivering 123 kW and the rear motor 230 kW. Paired with a 97.682 kWh high-capacity battery, it offers a driving range of 682 km to 726 km, making it a reliable choice for users seeking a pure electric driving experience.
Chassis & Intelligent Driving

The EXEED EX7 is equipped with the Feiyu Chassis 3.0 and Snow Leopard AWD 2.0, combined with an EMB (electromechanical brake-by-wire) system. It achieves a response time of just 90 ms and a braking distance of around 33 meters, representing an approximate 30% improvement in response speed. The dual-redundancy design further enhances driving safety.
In addition, the vehicle supports features such as intelligent drift control and loss-of-control stabilization, delivering a driving and handling experience comparable to luxury vehicles.
On the intelligent driving side, it is equipped with the Falcon 700 end-to-end driver assistance system, covering full driving scenarios with enhanced capabilities in parking and handling complex road conditions, making driving easier and safer.

In terms of safety, the EXEED EX7 adopts a "five-horizontal, eight-vertical" reinforced body structure, forming a rock-solid safety foundation. It is supported by the Rhino Battery's six-dimensional electric safety certification, featuring IP68 protection, a high-strength steel battery enclosure, and thermal runaway suppression, ensuring greater reliability in battery safety.
Chery has also introduced the Rhino Battery series (E for pure electric / H for hybrid), offering a cycle life of over 5,000 charges and lifetime warranty coverage for the three core electric components. Looking ahead, a solid-state hybrid battery is expected to be deployed in Q4 2026, marking a step toward fully solid-state batteries, further enhancing both range and safety.
