On December 1, 2025, Dongfeng Nissan officially launched its new plug-in hybrid sedan, the Dongfeng Nissan N6, offering five models. Positioned as a mid-size car, smaller than the Nissan N7, the N6 features a plug-in hybrid powertrain and a CLTC pure electric range of 180km. As Dongfeng Nissan's first plug-in hybrid sedan under the Tianyan architecture, the N6 focuses on providing comfortable travel and practical functions for family users.

On the side, a minimalist, wind-curved waistline flows smoothly from the front to the rear, outlining a long and sleek profile, complemented by sporty wheels, exuding a sense of dynamism within its composure. The "Hurricane Eye" taillights at the rear are square and neat, enhancing visual appeal. The golden body ratio of 0.618 achieves an ultra-low drag coefficient of 0.248Cd, combining aesthetics and practicality. The full LCD instrument cluster and large floating center screen complement each other perfectly, housing the NISSAN OS infotainment system. This system boasts a 3D borderless desktop and customizable shortcuts, while the AI voice assistant "Xiao Ni" supports fuzzy command recognition and dialect-free operation for easy use. Based on the first central supercomputing SOA electronic and electrical architecture of a joint venture automaker and the Qualcomm Snapdragon automotive-grade 8775 chip, the Dongfeng Nissan N6 debuts the Qualcomm 8775×Momenta flywheel large-model cockpit-driver integration solution. The 8775 chip meets the highest functional safety level ASIL D, its AI computing power is more than twice that of the 8295 chip, and its FOTA online upgrade efficiency is improved by 35%. Its one-piece end-to-end combined driving assistance system, jointly developed with Momenta, covers highway navigation NOA, city memory navigation, and parking assistance functions. In terms of basic assistance configurations, mainstream functions such as AEB automatic emergency braking and FCW forward collision warning are all included, while ESA emergency steering assist enhances emergency avoidance capabilities. It is worth mentioning that the N6 is also the world's first mass-produced vehicle equipped with AI smart glasses, allowing navigation and other information to be displayed intuitively.

The Dongfeng Nissan N6 is equipped with Nissan's first global plug-in hybrid system for passenger vehicles-the AI Cloud Hybrid. All models come standard with a 21.1kWh high-capacity Cloud Shield battery, offering a pure electric range of 180km (CLTC). Charging from 30% to 80% takes only 17 minutes. The 1.5L plug-in hybrid dedicated engine, combined with a high-efficiency generator and multiple intelligent technologies, achieved a fuel consumption of 2.9L/100km in a 14,000km real-world test challenge, earning a Guinness World Record for its outstanding fuel efficiency.

In terms of safety, the Dongfeng Nissan N6 adopts a five-horizontal, ten-vertical cage-type body and a rear-row ultra-high-strength steel A-shaped structure, achieving a torsional stiffness of 35738 N·m/kWh. It is equipped with driver and passenger airbags. For battery safety, the Cloud Shield battery features a "six-dimensional safety design for the entire battery pack," relying on big data AI models and cloud-based BMS intelligent algorithms for 24-hour monitoring and early warning. In addition to more than ten driver assistance functions, active safety features include plug-in hybrid anti-stall intelligent control technology to reduce the risk of power interruption under extreme battery depletion conditions.
