On April 9, NIO officially unveiled and opened pre-orders for its flagship model-the NIO ES9. As the culmination of 11 years of innovation, the ES9 stands out with its original design, spacious and comfortable cabin, cutting-edge intelligent technology, and outstanding performance. With a body length of 5,365 mm and a wheelbase of 3,250 mm, the NIO ES9 becomes the largest pure electric SUV in China, showcasing an imposing and commanding presence.
At the front, the all-new Double-Dash ultra-pure crystal daytime running lights are paired with "Light-Step Crystal" intelligent HD projection headlights, creating a striking visual effect. These not only support welcome lighting animations but can also project videos, delivering both advanced technology and a strong sense of ceremony.
Along the side, a dual-tone floating roof, hidden door handles, and 22-inch multi-spoke wheels create a lightweight and dynamic profile. At the rear, the class-longest flowing feather-inspired taillights are accented with satin-finish bright trim, offering exceptional recognizability.
The Horizon Special Edition features exclusive dual-tone themes-"Cosmic Dawn" and "Cosmic Galaxy", inspired by the golden light of mountains at daybreak, beautifully expressing the essence of Eastern aesthetics.

The NIO ES9 follows a "free and open" design philosophy, creating a class-leading cabin space. It ranks at the top of its segment in longitudinal, lateral, and vertical interior dimensions, and with a panoramic glass roof and matrix LC intelligent privacy-dimming windows, it delivers a bright, spacious, and open cabin environment.
The combined capacity of the front and rear trunks reaches 816 liters, easily accommodating 13 suitcases for six passengers, effectively solving the traditional dilemma of compromising between passenger comfort and cargo space in executive SUVs.
The second-row aviation-style zero-gravity executive seats feature a 2.3-meter continuous seat design and support a 42-point full-body deep massage system. Notably, the industry-first 20-point mechanical foot massage function allows passengers to enjoy ultimate relaxation for both body and mind.

The NIO ES9 draws inspiration from traditional Chinese landscape painting, incorporating intangible cultural heritage Suzhou embroidery to present the "Magnificent Rivers and Mountains" theme. With nearly 400,000 stitches, it creates a breathtaking artistic masterpiece, seamlessly blending the essence of Eastern culture into a modern intelligent cabin.
The cabin adopts a "Sky Island" and "Smart Executive Center Console" layout. The former features a floating design that enhances the sense of space, while the latter integrates dual 16-inch dedicated executive screens, a high-definition video conferencing system, and an exclusive magnetic tea table, meeting both business and leisure needs.
In addition, the ES9 is equipped with the Jiuxiao Tianqin 9.2.4.8 immersive sound system, featuring 47 speakers and 3020W rated power. Combined with diamond-crafted "Tianqin tweeters" and triple Dolby-certified technologies, it creates the world's first in-cabin cinema experience, elevating audio-visual enjoyment to a whole new level.
Powertrain & Chassis
Full-Domain 900V Architecture for a Peak Driving Experience
Built on a full-domain 900V high-voltage architecture, the NIO ES9 supports 5C ultra-fast charging and battery swapping in just 3 minutes, with a CLTC range of up to 620 km.
The powertrain features a dual-motor all-wheel-drive system, delivering a combined output of 520 kW, enabling 0–100 km/h acceleration in just 3.8 seconds and a top speed of 220 km/h.
On the chassis side, the Tianxing Intelligent Chassis System integrates three core technologies: fully active suspension, steer-by-wire, and rear-wheel steering. The active suspension adjusts up to 1,000 times per second, achieving millisecond-level response. The steer-by-wire system eliminates the traditional steering column, allowing full steering lock with just 0.66 turns, ensuring precise control. Meanwhile, rear-wheel steering reduces the turning radius to just 5.4 meters, delivering agility comparable to a compact sedan.
An industry-first intelligent terrain mode can automatically detect road conditions and adjust chassis settings, enabling effortless handling of complex terrains.

The NIO ES9 comes standard with 12 airbags and integrates advanced active and passive safety technologies, forming a seven-layer flagship safety redundancy system. The body adopts a hybrid structure of ultra-high-strength steel and aluminum alloy, exceeding global five-star safety standards.
For intelligent driving assistance, it is equipped with the Cedar AQUILA ultra-sensing system, featuring three LiDAR units, a 4D imaging radar, and 12 cameras, enabling 360-degree, full-coverage environmental perception.
