The all-new MG4 is launched
The all-new MG4 officially debuted at the 2025 Chengdu Auto Show, joining the compact electric vehicle market with five models. With a suggested retail price range of 68,800 to 102,800 yuan, the attractive pricing attracted considerable attention.
The all-new MG4 is built on SAIC's E3 pure electric architecture, a specialized platform that provides the foundation for its performance and quality. Positioned in the compact segment, it boasts a CLTC range of 530km, easily meeting daily commuting and short trips. Furthermore, the vehicle boasts highly efficient charging, with a 30% to 80% charge in just 20 minutes, significantly reducing waiting time and making travel more efficient.

Exterior design: sporty and fashionable, showing personality

The all-new MG4 features a fresh design, perfectly blending the family's sporty DNA with minimalist aesthetics. At the front, the segmented grille below the front bumper features a honeycomb pattern, complemented by side air ducts, exuding a sporty aura.
The ingenious long wheelbase and short front and rear overhangs enhance both interior space and handling. The 17-inch plum blossom-shaped wheels are refined and sporty, adding a touch of class to the vehicle. Its dimensions are 4395/1842/1551mm, with a wheelbase of 2750mm, making it an excellent choice for the compact car class. Six exterior colors, including Donglai Purple and Qingbo Cui, are available to satisfy individual customer preferences.
The rear design is equally striking, with eye-catching arrow-shaped taillights, a nod to the MG Cyberster. The addition of a spoiler further enhances the sporty feel, giving the vehicle a more coordinated and dynamic appearance.
Inside, a Rose Purple and Mountain Blue color scheme creates a warm and comfortable ambiance. The two-spoke steering wheel exudes a sporty feel, while the small LCD instrument panel and hand-held shifter design provide easy operation. The central control screen is available in various sizes, including 10.25-inch, 12.8-inch, and 15.6-inch, depending on configuration, to meet the needs of different users for a larger screen. The entry-level model is equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8155 car-machine chip and the MG×OPPO Intelligent Driving Car-machine Interconnection System, enabling seamless connectivity between the car and the phone, offering a variety of practical functions.
In addition, the new car features 50W wireless fast charging and rear privacy glass. The front seats are heated and ventilated, while the rear seats have independent air vents and a 27-degree backrest angle, providing a comfortable ride for both drivers and passengers.

Power safety: strong protection, worry-free travel

Powering the all-new MG4 is a six-in-one electric motor with a maximum power of 120 kW, a peak torque of 250 Nm, and a top speed of 160 km/h. The lithium iron phosphate battery is available in two capacities: 42.8 kWh and 53.9 kWh, with a CLTC range of 437 km and 530 km, respectively. The semi-solid Anxin version features a manganese-based lithium-ion battery and a 120 kW motor.
Safety features include automatic emergency braking, lane departure warning, and other safety systems to ensure comprehensive driving safety. The top-of-the-line model features powerful driver assistance features, including high-speed No-Action Pilot Driving Assist, making driving easier and safer.
