On March 16, 2025, Zeekr officially unveiled its latest model, the Zeekr 8X, and opened pre-sales. As the first "super hybrid high-performance flagship SUV" built on the SEA-S (Sustainable Experience Architecture-Super Hybrid) platform, the Zeekr 8X combines avant-garde design, extreme performance, cutting-edge intelligence, and class-leading luxury features, offering high-end users a no-compromise, all-scenario mobility solution.

A Fusion of Futuristic Aesthetics and Sporty DNA
The Zeekr 8X continues the brand's signature design language, inspired by a "futuristic battle armor" concept, creating a highly distinctive appearance. At the front, a vertical waterfall grille is paired with split headlights, while the dual-strip daytime running lights form a C-shaped signature, complemented by active air intakes for both a high-tech look and improved aerodynamic efficiency.
The vehicle is available in five exterior colors, including Amber Cloud Red and Moon Sea Gray, along with a "Black Warrior" edition featuring a full blacked-out treatment-including the grille, wheels, and badges-to further emphasize its sporty character.
From the side, the sleek, streamlined silhouette and gloss-black wheels create a dynamic stance, while flush door handles help reduce drag. At the rear, the full-width "Qiankun" taillight adopts a split-line design, paired with a rear spoiler and roof rack, balancing practicality with visual impact.
In terms of dimensions, the Zeekr 8X measures 5100 mm in length, 1998 mm in width, and 1780 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3069 mm. Positioned as a full-size SUV, it offers both five-seat and six-seat layouts, catering to the needs of family and business use.

The Zeekr 8X interior is designed around the concept of a "future space", offering four color schemes such as Crimson Shadow Red and Pure Black. Wood trim panels and a suede headliner create a refined, premium atmosphere.
The center console features a 15.05-inch 2.5K OLED floating display seamlessly integrated with a front passenger entertainment screen, combined with an AR-HUD and a digital instrument cluster, forming a three-screen interactive ecosystem. Physical buttons are retained for practicality, while a sporty steering wheel and central tunnel sport armrest enhance both usability and driving excitement.
Seat controls are integrated into the door panels, and a button-style door opening system improves both convenience and safety. The top-spec Yaoying Edition is further equipped with a 29-speaker Naim sound system, powered side steps, and projection headlights, creating a truly immersive and luxurious in-cabin experience.

The Zeekr 8X is the first to feature the next-generation G-ASD advanced driver-assistance system, equipped with five LiDAR sensors and dual NVIDIA DRIVE Thor chips delivering a combined 1,400 TOPS of computing power. It supports true map-free urban navigation assistance across all scenarios, covering parking, highways, and city driving. Powered by advanced AI algorithms, the system can perceive road conditions in real time, handle complex traffic environments, and enable a seamless "ready-to-drive anywhere nationwide" experience.
In addition, the Zeekr 8X is equipped with the SEA AI digital chassis, integrating a closed dual-chamber air suspension, dual-valve CCD electromagnetic dampers, and an active stabilizer bar. It supports features such as magic carpet suspension and snow mode, achieving an excellent balance between ride comfort and handling stability across all terrains.
On the safety front, the Zeekr 8X adopts a high-strength body structure forming a "SEA safety armor", featuring an industry-first dual door-ring plus dual reinforcement beam design, along with "985" battery protection technology, creating a "hybrid road tank" with outstanding safety performance.

Triple-Motor System Redefines the Limits of Hybrid SUVs
In terms of powertrain, the Zeekr 8X is offered in both dual-motor and triple-motor versions. The top-spec Yaoying Edition features a triple-motor megawatt electric drive system with a combined output of 1,030 kW (approximately 1,400 hp), achieving 0–100 km/h in just 2.96 seconds, making it the fastest-accelerating hybrid SUV in the world.
Its 2.0T hybrid-specific engine boasts a thermal efficiency of 46%, paired with a 55 kWh or 70 kWh 6C ultra-fast charging battery. The CLTC pure electric range exceeds 400 km, with a total range of over 1,400 km, and it supports 9-minute fast charging from 20% to 80%, delivering both high performance and long-distance practicality.
The launch of the Zeekr 8X marks a further deepening of the Zeekr brand in the high-end market. Together with the Zeekr 9X, it forms a "high-performance + ultra-luxury" dual-flagship matrix, directly challenging competitors such as the Li Auto L8 and AITO M8.
