The New BAIC BJ30 sets a new benchmark for light off-road SUVs, combining a rugged "boxy" design with practical urban design. Measuring 4730×1910×1790mm, with a 2820mm wheelbase, it offers spacious rear-seat space. Standard features include a 14.6-inch central control screen and a 10.25-inch full LCD instrument panel. The Snapdragon 8155 processor supports Huawei HiCar connectivity. The Magic Core Electric Drive version utilizes a 1.5T hybrid system with 301kW of combined power and 685N·m of torque, achieving 0-100km/h acceleration in 6.59 seconds and fuel consumption as low as 5.85L/100km. Features like L2 Intelligent Driving, a transparent chassis, and a 220V external discharge system cater to both urban commuting and outdoor camping.

The New BAIC BJ30 continues the Beijing Off-Road family's signature "boxy" design language. Its 4730mm length and 2820mm wheelbase lend it a majestic visual presence. The front fascia features a closed three-hole grille, complemented by a five-hole star-shaped daytime running light strip and smoked LED headlights, making it highly visible at night. Black fenders, side skirts, and wide 19-inch tires enhance its off-road capabilities, while a floating roof and through-type smoked taillights add an urban chic touch. Practical features like a luggage rack and side steps cater to outdoor use, and six exterior colors are available for personalized customization.

The New BAIC BJ30's cabin features a light green "Aurora Forest" theme, complemented by imitation leather seats and easy-to-clean fabrics, balancing luxury and practicality. A dual-screen interactive system features a 14.6-inch floating central control screen and a 10.25-inch full LCD instrument panel. Built with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8155 chip, it supports Huawei HiCar and factory connectivity, offering operational fluidity comparable to flagship models. A yacht-style shifter and turbine-shaped ATS all-terrain control knob enhance the driving experience. The rear seats offer 26° adjustment and, with the fully foldable function, expand the trunk volume to 1496L, easily accommodating camping gear.

Hybrid four-wheel drive opens a new chapter in efficiency

The New BAIC BJ30 offers dual power options: fuel and Magic Core electric drive. The fuel version is equipped with a 1.5T turbocharged engine and a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission. It has a maximum power of 138kW and a peak torque of 305N·m, which can meet daily commuting needs. The hybrid version uses a 1.5T+dual-motor four-wheel drive system with a total power of 301kW and a total torque of 685N·m. It can accelerate from 0 to 100 km in just 6.59 seconds and has a WLTC fuel consumption as low as 5.85L/100km. The 2-speed DHT transmission and ATS all-terrain control system support 4 modes including snow and mud, and the four-wheel electronic limited slip with a response time of 0.03 seconds can easily cope with light off-road scenes.

The new BJ30 features a cage-type load-bearing body, comprised of 63.4% high-strength steel. Key hot-formed steel achieves a torsional stiffness of 24,800 Nm/degree. Combined with six force transmission paths and a two-layer energy-absorbing structure, collision safety is significantly enhanced. Six airbags are standard across the entire range, with mid-to-high-end models gaining front side airbags and side curtain airbags. The intelligent driving assistance system integrates features such as full-speed adaptive cruise control, automatic lane change assist, and a transparent chassis. Level 2 driving assistance is available for models above the entry-level trim level, utilizing a monocular camera and eight ultrasonic radars to implement 12 safety features, including collision warning and door opening warning.
