Description
As a medium-to-large hard-core luxury SUV, the New BAIC BJ60 combines off-road performance with comfortable configurations. Equipped with a 2.0T+48V mild hybrid system and an 8AT gearbox, it has strong power and excellent fuel economy. The non-load-bearing body is matched with part-time four-wheel drive and three differential locks, which can easily cope with complex road conditions. The car is equipped with a 12.8-inch floating central control screen, Yanfei Lisi 12-speaker audio and Nappa leather seats, which support ventilation/heating/massage functions. The new BAIC BJ60 features a signature five-hole grille, paired with U-shaped four-point LED headlights and a hidden light strip, creating a continuous lighting effect for exceptional nighttime recognition. Measuring 5040×1955×1925mm and with a 2820mm wheelbase, the new model boasts a squared-off silhouette and a sloping roofline that balances strength and flexibility. With a full-size external spare tire and a side-opening tailgate, it exudes a hardcore off-road presence. New Future Gray Metallic and Piano Black lacquer sport packages are available to meet personalized needs. With a measured wading depth of 750mm, a 30° approach angle, and a 24° departure angle, it offers superior maneuverability compared to competitors in its class.

The new BAIC BJ60's cabin features a Spring River Blue/Autumn Leaf Brown color scheme. Nappa leather seats offer 16-way power adjustment (including ventilation, heating, and massage), and the second-row seatbacks can be adjusted 30 degrees. Combined with 256-color ambient lighting and a panoramic sunroof, the cabin creates an executive-level, tranquil experience. The three-screen system (12.8-inch central control screen, 10.25-inch instrument cluster, and 1.92-inch start knob screen) is equipped with a Yanfei Lisi 12-speaker audio system. The system supports OTA updates, and although occasional lag can be improved through updates, it can be optimized. Eighteen storage spaces throughout the vehicle and a 220V trunk power outlet (150W) are available for long-distance travel.
Power Performance
The new BAIC BJ60 offers dual powertrain options: a 2.0T gasoline engine with a 48V mild hybrid and a 2.0T diesel engine with a 48V mild hybrid. The gasoline version boasts a maximum power of 196kW and a peak torque of 406Nm, paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission for responsive power. The diesel version boasts a maximum power of 163kW and a peak torque of 420Nm, offering superior low-end torque and a NEDC combined fuel consumption of just 8.5L/100km. All models come standard with a part-time all-wheel drive system and three electronically controlled differential locks, supporting a 4L mode (torque amplification of 2.54 times). Combined with the ATS Terrain Response system, it easily navigates challenging road conditions, including desert and snowy terrain.
Safety Performance
The new BAIC BJ60 features a non-load-bearing body structure, comprised of 70% high-strength steel. Combined with a four-wheel independent suspension (front double wishbone + rear multi-link), it offers exceptional stability on unpaved roads. All models come standard with Level 2 Assisted Driving, including full-speed ACC, automatic emergency braking, and lane keeping. Twelve ultrasonic radars and five high-definition cameras provide 360-degree monitoring. A new transparent chassis and 540-degree surround-view camera provide a clear view of the vehicle's underside and surrounding obstacles, enhancing off-road safety.
Intelligent Control
The new BAIC BJ60 features the latest intelligent interactive system, supporting voice control, gesture recognition, and facial recognition, enabling voice control of navigation, air conditioning, multimedia, and more. The system supports 5G networks and over-the-air (OTA) remote updates, ensuring continuous functional optimization. The all-terrain mode dial features nine driving modes (including Economy, Comfort, Sport, Snow, and Sand). Combined with a creep mode and tank U-turn function, even novice drivers can easily navigate complex terrain. The intelligent four-wheel drive system automatically distributes torque based on road conditions, improving handling stability and fuel efficiency.
