Amid the ongoing popularity of boxy SUVs, the iCAR V27, a mid-to-large SUV positioned as a new rugged family model, was officially launched in Beijing on March 13. The vehicle is offered in three configurations with both two-wheel drive and four-wheel drive options, providing consumers with a variety of choices.

The iCAR V27 continues the brand's signature rugged design language, echoing styling elements of the iCAR V23. Along the side, the clean waistline adds a touch of refinement, while the ultra-low window line gives the vehicle a tall and upright stance. At the rear, the externally mounted "backpack" storage box, full-size spare tire, brick-style taillights, and dual-style rear design create an extremely distinctive look. The vehicle measures 5055 mm in length, 1976 mm in width, and 1894 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2910 mm. It is offered in seven body colors and positioned as a standard large five-seat rugged SUV.

while the cabin is available in three interior color options.

The 715L trunk can be expanded to 1,818L, complemented by 50 storage spaces, delivering outstanding practicality. The iCAR V27 is equipped with the Falcon 700 intelligent driving system, fully supporting Highway NOA and Urban NOA full-scenario navigation assistance.
It adopts the Horizon HSD integrated hardware–software solution, powered by the Journey 6P chip with up to 560 TOPS of computing power per chip. The vehicle is also equipped with 27 high-precision sensors, including one Hesai ATX LiDAR, three millimeter-wave radars, and twelve ultrasonic radars. In addition, the system supports OTA upgrades, providing comprehensive protection for driving safety.

The iCAR V27 is powered by a 1.5T "China Core Top Ten" range-extender engine, delivering a maximum power of 115 kW with a thermal efficiency of 45.79%. The generator achieves a peak efficiency of 95.38%, producing 3.71 kWh of electricity per liter of fuel using 92-octane gasoline in a 60L tank. The optimized golden range-extender system features active noise reduction, seamless power generation strategies, and real-time AI adjustments, combined with 22 NVH solutions, keeping cabin noise below 61 dB, making the range extender virtually inaudible.
The P1 + P3 + P4 triple-motor architecture provides a combined torque of 505 N·m, with the all-wheel-drive version producing a total power of 335 kW. The vehicle offers 20.6 kWh and 34.3 kWh battery packs, enabling a pure electric range of 200–210 km and a total range exceeding 1,200 km. It accelerates from 0–100 km/h in 5 seconds, and fast charging from 30% to 80% takes just 17 minutes.
For outdoor and utility needs, the cabin is equipped with a 220V power outlet and a 6 kW external power supply, making it ideal for off-grid adventures.
