On June 16, Leapmotor officially launched the 2027 Leapmotor C10, a key strategic model in the brand's lineup. Built on the advanced LEAP 3.0 Clover Architecture, the C10 is a smart, family-oriented midsize SUV designed to deliver long-range capability and everyday versatility. The new model introduces more than 50 upgrades across five major areas: exterior design, interior refinement, powertrain and range, driver-assistance technology, and safety systems. Available in both Extended-Range Electric Vehicle (EREV) and Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV) versions, the 2027 Leapmotor C10 is engineered to meet a wide range of mobility needs-from daily commuting and long-distance road trips to weekend camping adventures and family travel.
Exterior Design
Refreshed Front-End Styling with a Stronger Presence


The exterior updates of the new Leapmotor C10 are centered around a redesigned front fascia. The vehicle features a new "Skylight Layered" split-headlight design, with the upper section retaining Leapmotor's signature LED daytime running lights, while the lower section integrates the high and low beams, cornering assist lights, and dedicated blue indicators for the driver-assistance system. This setup helps reduce blind spots on the inside of corners when driving at night.
The front bumper is equipped with an active grille shutter to improve aerodynamic efficiency, while the roof continues to house a high-precision LiDAR sensor for advanced driver-assistance functions.
In terms of dimensions, the vehicle's overall length has increased to 4,749 mm, while the 2,825 mm wheelbase remains unchanged, ensuring generous interior space. Customers can choose between newly designed 18-inch low-drag wheels and 20-inch five-spoke alloy wheels, offering different styles to suit personal preferences.
A new exclusive Cloud Gold matte exterior color has been added to the lineup, joining existing options such as Dew Purple and Tundra Gray, bringing the total number of available colors to six. In addition, the paint features a UV-resistant coating, improving stain and dirt resistance by 40% compared with conventional automotive paint finishes.
Interior configuration
Premium Comfort with Attention to Every Detail

The interior of the new Leapmotor C10 introduces a sophisticated Sandstone Brown color scheme, joining Stellar Purple to offer two premium cabin themes. The dashboard adopts a new layered design complemented by a 256-color waterfall-style ambient lighting system, while the traditional air vents have been replaced with hidden outlets, creating a cleaner and more upscale minimalist aesthetic.
The center console has been completely redesigned, featuring an upgraded wireless charging pad and a side-opening center armrest compartment for improved convenience and usability.
Technology is a major highlight. Every model comes standard with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8295P flagship cockpit chip, paired with a 17.3-inch 3K ultra-high-definition central touchscreen and a 60-inch AR Head-Up Display (AR-HUD). The AR-HUD delivers a peak brightness of 16,000 nits and maintains over 95% color accuracy even when wearing sunglasses, ensuring excellent visibility in various driving conditions.
Higher-spec models are equipped with an 18-speaker 7.1-channel premium audio system, including an exclusive driver's headrest speaker for a more immersive listening experience.
Comfort is further enhanced by standard dual 124-degree zero-gravity front seats, featuring 14-way power adjustment, 12-layer cushioning, and support for heating, ventilation, 10-point massage functions, and one-touch recline mode. Rear passengers benefit from a newly added multi-function folding tray table with integrated cup holders, making long journeys more enjoyable.
The cabin also comes standard with a panoramic glass roof, an electric sunshade, and a 7.5-liter intelligent cooling and heating refrigerator, elevating comfort for the entire family.
Practicality remains a strong point. The luggage compartment offers 510 liters of cargo capacity in standard configuration and expands to 1,809 liters with the rear seats folded down. An additional 93-liter hidden storage compartment beneath the cargo floor provides extra space for valuables and travel essentials.

Powertrain and Range
800V Architecture Delivers Longer Range and Faster Charging

The new Leapmotor C10 EV is equipped with an 81.9 kWh battery pack and built on an advanced 800V high-voltage SiC (Silicon Carbide) platform, enabling a CLTC driving range of up to 660 km. Thanks to its ultra-fast charging capability, the battery can be replenished from 30% to 80% in just 16 minutes, significantly reducing charging time during long journeys.
The vehicle also features an efficient heat pump system with a COP (Coefficient of Performance) of 2.0, allowing the cabin temperature to rise from -15°C to 15°C in just 10 minutes during winter conditions, greatly improving cold-weather comfort and energy efficiency.
The EREV (Extended-Range Electric Vehicle) version is powered by a 38.7 kWh battery pack, delivering a pure-electric range of 290 km and a combined driving range of up to 1,300 km. This setup is capable of covering the weekly commuting needs of approximately 90% of users without consuming any fuel, making it an ideal solution for both daily driving and long-distance travel.
Performance has also been enhanced across the lineup. The EREV version produces a combined output of 200 kW, accelerating from 0–100 km/h in 7.38 seconds, while the fully electric version delivers 230 kW of total power and completes the same sprint in just 6.02 seconds, offering a more dynamic and responsive driving experience.

Higher-spec versions of the new Leapmotor C10 are equipped with the Qualcomm SA8650 intelligent driving chip, delivering up to 200 TOPS of computing power, along with a long-range LiDAR sensor capable of detecting objects up to 300 meters away. Combined with 28 perception sensors, the system achieves 360-degree fused environmental awareness for enhanced safety and driving intelligence.
The vehicle supports Point-to-Point Navigation-Assisted Driving, covering the entire journey from start to finish. Functions include automatic parking space exit, parking lot navigation, meeting and passing vehicles in confined areas, automatic gate recognition and passage, navigation-assisted driving on public roads, and autonomous parking at the destination. This effectively eliminates three common challenges in intelligent driving systems: parking lot navigation interruptions, multi-level parking structure transitions, and automatic toll or gate passage.
Leapmotor's proprietary "Zero-Game" Human-Machine Co-Driving Algorithm enables smooth and natural transitions between driver and system control, minimizing interruptions and enhancing driver confidence.
Inside the cabin, the intelligent voice assistant supports 14 Chinese dialects with wake-word-free voice interaction, allowing occupants to control vehicle functions more naturally. The system also incorporates AI-powered emotional interaction features, creating a more personalized and engaging in-car experience.
Safety System
Beyond Compliance with Multi-Layer Redundant Protection

The new Leapmotor C10 continues to meet five-star safety standards in China, Europe, and Australia, delivering comprehensive protection for occupants. Its body structure incorporates 2,000 MPa hot-stamped steel, increasing the proportion of high-performance materials to 73.6%. The advanced CTC 2.0 Plus (Cell-to-Chassis) integrated battery protection architecture reduces battery lateral displacement by 47% during a collision, enhancing structural integrity and occupant safety.
Battery safety is further reinforced by a ten-layer thermal insulation and explosion-protection system, designed to prevent fire or explosion for up to 48 hours after a thermal runaway event, providing an additional level of protection in extreme situations.
The new Leapmotor C10 comes standard with FSD variable damping shock absorbers and Continental One-Box brake-by-wire technology, enabling braking distances of approximately 35 meters from 100 km/h, ensuring confident stopping performance.
In addition, Leapmotor's proprietary LMC (Leapmotor Motion Control) Integrated Vehicle Dynamics System helps maintain vehicle stability in challenging conditions. The system supports high-speed tire blowout stability control at up to 120 km/h and enhances resistance to skidding on slippery roads.
Active safety features cover a wide range of driving scenarios, including Automatic Emergency Braking (AEB) across a broad speed range, Automatic Emergency Steering (AES), and Mis-Acceleration Inhibition (MAI). Meanwhile, the vehicle's AI-powered Battery Management System (BMS) and cloud-based electric powertrain diagnostics utilize a four-layer redundancy architecture to ensure reliable operation throughout the vehicle's lifecycle.
