Recently, the all-new mid-to-large extended-range SUV IM LS8 was officially launched, with four variants introduced to the market. As the first model under the IM brand to feature the "Stellar Super Range-Extender Power System," the LS8 delivers an all-scenario, worry-free mobility solution for family users through its ultra-long driving range, advanced intelligent driving capabilities, luxurious cabin features, and flexible handling performance.
Exterior Design

The IM LS8 continues the brand's signature design language, combining a futuristic aesthetic with practicality to create a highly recognizable exterior.
Front Fascia
A full-width starlight light bar is paired with a closed-off grille design, while the brand logo is seamlessly integrated along the hood line. Together with the "7"-shaped matrix headlights and trapezoidal air intake, the front end delivers a sharp and layered visual appearance. The roof-mounted LiDAR further enhances its high-tech identity.
Side Profile
The floating roof design and hidden door handles contribute to both aerodynamic efficiency and a strong sense of power. Multi-spoke large-size wheels, available in 20- to 22-inch options, further emphasize its premium SUV stance. The relatively straight roofline improves headroom inside the cabin. Measuring 5,085 mm in length, 2,000 mm in width, and 1,807 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3,060 mm, the LS8 ensures a spacious and comfortable interior experience.

Available in both five-seat and six-seat layouts, all variants come standard with Nappa leather seats. The driver and front passenger seats feature zero-gravity design and 4D mechanical massage functions. Rear seats support heating, ventilation, and massage functions, while the second-row independent captain's chairs in the six-seat version also include power adjustment and leg rests for maximum long-distance comfort.

The IM LS8 is built on an advanced 800V high-voltage platform and powered by the "Stellar Super Range-Extender Power System," which combines a 1.5T range extender with electric motors to deliver both strong performance and outstanding efficiency.
Rear-Wheel-Drive Version: The electric motor delivers a maximum output of 230 kW and peak torque of 430 N·m. It offers a CLTC pure electric driving range of 355 km and a total combined range of 1,573 km.
All-Wheel-Drive Version: Equipped with dual motors producing a combined output of 390 kW and peak torque of 670 N·m, the AWD model accelerates from 0–100 km/h in just 4.7 seconds. It provides a CLTC pure electric range of 430 km and a comprehensive driving range of up to 1,605 km.
Charging Efficiency: Thanks to its 800V high-voltage architecture, the LS8 supports ultra-fast charging technology, significantly reducing charging time and making long-distance travel more convenient.
Intelligent Driving
LiDAR + Thor Chip Ushering in a New Era of Advanced Smart Driving
The IM LS8 achieves major breakthroughs in intelligent driving through both advanced hardware and software integration.
Hardware Configuration: The LS8 is equipped with a 520-line ultra-long-range LiDAR sensor, 11 high-definition cameras, and multiple millimeter-wave and ultrasonic radars, forming a comprehensive 360-degree perception system. Powered by the NVIDIA Thor chip with 700 TOPS of computing power, the vehicle supports advanced autonomous driving algorithms and OTA upgrades.
Software Capabilities: Co-developed by IM and Momenta, the IM AD ZETA end-to-end AI large model enables advanced features such as highway and urban NOA (Navigation on Autopilot), full-scenario automatic parking, and intelligent gaze interaction. The system can accurately identify pedestrians, vehicles, and obstacles, significantly enhancing safety in complex driving conditions.

The IM LS8 comes standard across the lineup with the Lizard Digital Chassis 3.0 system, achieving an ideal balance between driving dynamics and ride comfort through advanced technologies.
Suspension System: The IM LS8 adopts a front double-wishbone and rear multi-link independent suspension setup, paired with CDC continuously variable damping shock absorbers and a closed air suspension system with 120 mm of travel. This configuration enables real-time body posture adjustment to adapt to various road conditions.
Steering System: Its fully electronic steer-by-wire system supports up to 24° of bidirectional rear-wheel steering. Despite its large five-meter-class body size, the LS8 achieves an impressively tight turning radius of just 4.85 meters, making U-turns and maneuvering in narrow streets remarkably easy.
Intelligent Road Preview: The Lizard Intelligent Control Center can respond to changing road conditions within as little as 20 milliseconds. Combined with the MK C2 brake-by-wire system, which delivers a 100–0 km/h braking distance of only 34.38 meters, the LS8 ensures excellent driving stability and safety.
