On May 18, the technology-driven flagship SUV - the Denza N9 Flash Charging Edition - was officially launched, offering three variants: Flash Charging Premium, Flash Charging Supreme, and Flash Charging Flagship. The entire lineup comes standard with BYD's core technologies, including the second-generation Blade Battery with flash charging technology, the e³ Platform, DiSus-A intelligent air suspension, God's Eye 5.0 intelligent driving system, and a new-generation AI smart cockpit. With ultra-fast charging as its spear, safety as its shield, and intelligence as its wings, the Denza N9 Flash Charging Edition aims to redefine the value benchmark for full-size luxury flagship SUVs.
Exterior Design
A Commanding Flagship Presence at First Glance
The Denza N9 Flash Charging Edition continues the brand's signature "Standing Tall Between Heaven and Earth" design philosophy. The vehicle measures 5258/2030/1830 mm with a 3125 mm wheelbase, while the side profile adopts a luxury yacht-inspired "Flying Bridge Aesthetics" design, delivering a grand and imposing appearance.
The new model introduces exclusive 22-inch mirror-finish forged wheels, paired with 305 mm-wide rear tires and ADB adaptive matrix headlights, creating an unmistakable flagship presence.
A total of nine exterior colors are available, including two new finishes: Silver Night Glow and Dark Gold Flow. In addition, the vehicle features a massive 3.2㎡ panoramic glass roof spanning all three rows, allowing passengers to enjoy expansive sky views from every seat.

The cabin of the Denza N9 Flash Charging Edition comes standard with NAPPA leather seats, a premium suede headliner, a smart heating and cooling refrigerator, dual 50W wireless fast chargers for the front row, dual rear tray tables, and an active fragrance system.
The front seats support 8-way power adjustment, along with massage, ventilation, and heating functions. The second row comes standard with power adjustment, heating, ventilation, massage, boss mode, and lateral sliding functionality. On the Supreme and Flagship trims, passengers also enjoy zero-gravity seats and a privacy acoustic shield system, ensuring that conversations in the rear cabin remain inaudible to the front-row driver.
The third row is equally well-equipped, offering power adjustment, one-touch folding, and seat heating, delivering true comfort for every passenger.
The intelligent cockpit features a 17.3-inch 2.5K central touchscreen, a 13.2-inch digital instrument cluster, a 13.2-inch front passenger entertainment screen, and a 50-inch AR-HUD. Higher-spec versions additionally include a 17.3-inch ceiling-mounted entertainment display.
Combined with the DEVIALET premium audio system featuring up to 26 speakers and exclusive sound tuning by Wang Leehom, the cabin delivers a truly immersive first-class luxury experience.

The Denza N9 Flash Charging Edition comes standard across the lineup with the God's Eye 5.0 (DiPilot 300) intelligent driving system, equipped with one lidar sensor and built on a fully closed-loop end-to-end architecture enhanced by reinforcement learning capabilities.
The system supports urban navigation assistance, highway NOA, and intelligent parking, delivering driving behavior that closely resembles that of an experienced driver, with highly accurate prediction and rapid response capabilities.
Inside the cabin, the vehicle features the new-generation AI Smart Cockpit (DiLink 300), debuting BYD's most advanced AI large language model. The system supports fuzzy semantic recognition, proactive welcome interaction, and full-vehicle voice control, evolving the in-car experience from simply "obeying commands" to truly "understanding the user."

Charged in 5 Minutes, Nearly Full in 9 - Delivering a Pure EV Experience in a Plug-in Hybrid
The Denza N9 Flash Charging Edition is equipped with BYD's 75.264 kWh second-generation Blade Battery, delivering a CLTC pure electric range of 420 km and a combined range of 1,520 km. This makes it possible to achieve a full week of weekday commuting without charging and weekend intercity trips without refueling.
Thanks to its ultra-fast charging technology, the battery can charge from 10% to 70% in just 5 minutes, and from 10% to 97% in only 9 minutes. Even in extreme cold conditions of -30°C, charging time increases by only about 3 additional minutes.
The powertrain combines a 2.0T engine with a triple-motor all-wheel-drive system, producing a total output of 680 kW. The SUV accelerates from 0–100 km/h in just 3.7 seconds, while maintaining a remarkably low depleted-battery fuel consumption of only 5.9L/100 km.
Chassis Performance
e³ Platform + DiSus-A Standard Across the Lineup, A Unique Offering Among Full-Size SUVs
The Denza N9 Flash Charging Edition comes standard across the lineup with the e³ Platform, DiSus-A closed dual-chamber air suspension, and Road Preview 2.0. It features a front double-wishbone suspension and rear five-link independent suspension, with a minimum turning radius of just 4.65 meters, making it even more agile than a BMW MINI.
The vehicle supports intelligent crab walk and compass turn functions, while also delivering exceptional safety performance, including stable obstacle avoidance at 210 km/h without rollover, maintaining control after a tire blowout at 180 km/h, and resisting lane deviation under 150 km/h crosswinds.
Safety Performance
The First Vehicle in C-IASI History to Achieve the Highest Rating - No Qualifications Needed
The Denza N9 Flash Charging Edition features a body structure composed of 90.5% high-strength steel and aluminum alloy. Its hybrid CTB integrated design delivers nearly 40,000 N·m of torsional rigidity, while the entire vehicle is equipped with 9 airbags.
In the 2025 C-IASI evaluations, the new model stood out among nearly 200 tested vehicles, becoming the first vehicle in C-IASI history to receive the highest rating.
Equipped with four major active safety systems - AEB, AES, ESA, and MEB - the vehicle can successfully stop for a two-wheeler at night at speeds of up to 130 km/h, and can safely avoid a suddenly disappearing lead vehicle at 130 km/h.
