On May 19, the refreshed Zeekr 009 was officially launched, with a total of three variants introduced. As a mid-cycle facelift model, the new Zeekr 009 delivers comprehensive upgrades across three core areas: the electric powertrain system, intelligent driving, and cockpit experience. In particular, the combination of a full-stack 900V high-voltage architecture and the NVIDIA Thor-U chip elevates the product strength of this large pure electric MPV to an entirely new level.
Exterior Design
Bold and Commanding Presence
The refreshed Zeekr 009 continues the flagship design language of the current model. Its signature vertical waterfall grille and iconic "Light Trace" daytime running lights remain the key visual highlights, while subtle refinements to the fog light trim further enhance the vehicle's sense of sophistication.
The vehicle measures 5217/2024/1812 mm with a 3205 mm wheelbase, and is available in both five-door six-seat and five-door seven-seat configurations.

The complete transformation of the electric powertrain system is the most significant upgrade of the new Zeekr 009. The refreshed model is available in both RWD and AWD versions. The RWD variant adopts an 800V architecture and is equipped with a 310 kW front-mounted single motor, accelerating from 0–100 km/h in 6.9 seconds. It is paired with a 108 kWh ternary lithium battery, offering a CLTC range of 740 km and supporting 5C ultra-fast charging. The AWD version upgrades to a full-stack 900V high-voltage architecture, featuring dual motors with a combined output of 680 kW (310 kW front + 370 kW rear) and 913 N·m of total torque. It accelerates from 0–100 km/h in just 3.9 seconds and reaches a top speed of 220 km/h. The vehicle is equipped with a 115 kWh 6C Qilin battery, delivering a CLTC range of 720 km. Charging from 10% to 80% SOC takes only 10 minutes, adding approximately 510 km of range. Both versions support 6 kW vehicle-to-load (V2L) external power output, effectively turning what was once considered the biggest weakness of electric MPVs into one of their greatest strengths. Considering the performance and charging upgrades, spending an additional RMB 20,000 to step up from the entry-level model to the 115 kWh AWD version is clearly the more worthwhile choice.
Intelligent Driving
700 TOPS Computing Power for a True Leap in Smart Driving
Intelligent driving is the biggest upgrade highlight of the refreshed Zeekr 009. The entire lineup now comes standard with the Haohan H7 intelligent driving assistance system, powered by the new NVIDIA Thor chip with computing power reaching 700 TOPS.
The hardware setup also includes one lidar sensor, five millimeter-wave radars, and twelve ultrasonic radars, enabling advanced driver assistance functions for both urban roads and highway driving.
Compared with the previous generation, which used the Mobileye Q5H chip with only 48 TOPS of computing power, this upgrade represents a true generational leap, while also providing substantial hardware redundancy for future algorithm evolution and OTA improvements over the coming years.

The refreshed Zeekr 009 is equipped with the industry's first 2000 MPa triangular dual A-pillars at the front, while the side structure adopts an innovative "Ten-Grid" battery anti-collision architecture.
At the bottom, a newly added U-shaped anti-scratch crossbeam enhances underbody protection, while the rear collision structure introduces a patented active drop-down high-voltage distribution box technology. Rear impact resistance has been increased to withstand collisions at speeds of up to 105 km/h, with crash energy tolerance reaching 1.7 times stricter than the toughest U.S. safety standards.
In terms of active safety, the entire lineup comes standard with more than 70 safety functions. The G-AEB system supports emergency braking at speeds of up to 130 km/h, while G-AES can accurately identify and continuously avoid obstacles at 130 km/h, truly delivering on the promise that every seat is a safe seat.
Chassis Performance
Million-Class Suspension + Intelligent Control Hub for Both Handling and Comfort
The refreshed Zeekr 009 comes standard across the lineup with a front double-wishbone and rear multi-link independent suspension setup, combined with a closed dual-chamber air suspension and dual-valve CCD electromagnetic dampers.
The vehicle is also equipped with the industry-first Dinghai Intelligent Control Hub, serving as the "super brain" of the driving and handling system. It enables advanced capabilities such as intelligent crosswind stabilization, allowing the vehicle to safely pass through Level 11 wind zones at speeds of up to 150 km/h, as well as full-scenario tire blowout control, stabilizing the vehicle within 0.2 seconds after a tire blowout at 120 km/h.
In addition, the system includes an intelligent anti-motion-sickness stabilization system, perfectly balancing dynamic handling performance with exceptional ride comfort and cabin stability.
