Recently, the Ford Explorer Kunlun series welcomed a new member – the Kunlun Crossing Edition, which was officially unveiled. As a derivative version of the existing model, it features a 5-seat layout and aims to enrich the Kunlun series product matrix, bringing a brand-new choice to consumers who pursue all-scenario cross-country adventures with its unique charm.
Rugged Exterior, Exuding a Powerful Presence

The Ford Explorer Kunlun Crossing Edition continues the Kunlun series' signature rugged visual style. The glossy black honeycomb grille, like a mysterious mesh in the deep night sky, exudes an untamed spirit; the orange tow hook is particularly eye-catching, adding a bright touch to the overall design and highlighting its powerful towing capacity, ready to handle various complex road conditions at any time; the smooth and powerful waistline trim outlines the body's robust contours, seemingly telling a story of its adventurous spirit. Compared to the Peak Edition, the Cross-Country Edition may lack some luxurious embellishments, but it possesses a more practical and hardcore rustic charm, making it the center of attention whether driving on city streets or in the wilderness.
Practical Interior, Flexible and Versatile Space

Inside, the Ford Explorer Kunlun Crossing Edition features a brand-new five-seat layout, elevating space utilization and loading capacity to new heights. By removing some luxury features, it gains a larger trunk space and a flatter storage area. With the rear seats folded down, a nearly 6-square-meter flat loading area is created, easily accommodating everything from camping tents and sleeping bags to large items like mountain bikes and suitcases, meeting diverse travel needs. This design fully considers the actual needs of users in all-scenario off-road adventures, making every trip more comfortable.
Powerful Performance, Conquering All Terrains
The Ford Explorer Kunlun Crossing Edition is equipped with a 2.3T EcoBoost engine, delivering a maximum power of 213kW and a peak torque of 445N·m, paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission, providing strong and smooth power output. Simultaneously, the vehicle can achieve intelligent torque distribution from 0:100 to 50:50 between the front and rear axles. Combined with the "Six-Mode Intelligent Four-Tier" terrain management system, encompassing multiple modes such as Standard, Sport, Eco, Slippery, Off-Road, and Trailer, it can easily handle both high-speed highway driving and challenging treks in the Gobi Desert and snowfields, truly making "a smooth road wherever you go".

Robust Safety, Protecting Every Journey

The Ford Explorer Kunlun Crossing Edition is equipped with a mechanical Torsen rear differential, intelligent four-wheel drive system, all-terrain tires, and 2.3mm underbody armor, providing the vehicle with powerful off-road capabilities and protection. A ground clearance of 223mm, an approach angle of 23°, and a departure angle of 24° allow the vehicle to handle complex road conditions with greater ease. Furthermore, the vehicle doesn't compromise on safety features, with a series of active and passive safety systems providing comprehensive protection for occupants, ensuring peace of mind on every adventure.
