On October 20, BYD's high-end brand Fangchengbao officially launched the 2026 Fangchengbao Leopard 5 long-range version, launching 4 configurations with all-round upgrades to bring consumers a new hard-core off-road experience.
Tough appearance, personalized choice
The 2026 Fangchengbao Leopard 5 Long-Range Edition retains the classic boxy shape, a hallmark of the rugged SUV. The front fascia, featuring a grid-like grille and flanked by smoked headlights, seamlessly enhances the vehicle's visual width. The multiple raised ribs on the hood, combined with the robust front bumper, perfectly accentuate the SUV's muscular appearance.
In terms of body color, the 2026 Fangchengbao Leopard 5 adds "Warm Wind White" to the existing Night Shadow Black, Peak Gray, Dolomiti Mountain Green, and Vatnajökull Blue. The five colors meet the personalized needs of different consumers. The 2026 Fangchengbao Leopard 5 adds a new interior color, "Dune Brown," to the existing Eclipse Blue and Shoal Green, creating a more luxurious cabin ambiance. The seats are upholstered in Nappa leather, and all models come standard with electric adjustment, ventilation, heating, and massage functions for the front seats, significantly enhancing driving comfort.
The center console features a three-screen layout: a 12.3-inch LCD instrument panel, a 15.6-inch central control screen, and a 12.3-inch passenger entertainment screen. After replacing the 47.8kWh large-capacity battery pack, the battery energy density reaches 140Wh/kg, and the pure electric range under CLTC conditions is increased from 125km to 210km. With a full tank and a full charge, the comprehensive range is up to 1,310 kilometers, alleviating users' range anxiety. When the battery is low, the fuel consumption is only 7.8L/100km, which is an excellent energy consumption performance.
