More than just intelligent driving, comprehensive evolution

Improved battery life, commuting experience comparable to pure electric
The BYD Tang DM-i Intelligent Driving Edition offers a surprising answer to the battery life issue many consumers are concerned about. Its all-electric range has been significantly increased to 160 kilometers. This means that most people can rely entirely on electric power for their daily commutes, with driving habits similar to those of a true all-electric SUV. This significantly reduces daily operating costs and alleviates the hassle of frequent charging.
Optimized appearance details and richer color options
The BYD Tang DM-i Intelligent Driving Edition maintains the Tang series's majestic design style, while meticulously crafting the details. The newly added "Glazed Silver" colorway offers a low-saturation metallic texture, creating a clean and simple visual effect, somewhat similar to the Han L. The "Black Warrior" styling package cleverly combines smoked black wheels with a "Silver Sand Black" paint finish, creating a sporty look and satisfying the individuality sought by various consumers. Dimensionally, the DM-i measures 4905mm in length, 1950mm in width, and 1725mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2820mm, 35mm longer than the current model. This provides ample rear passenger space and a more practical trunk volume, making it particularly suitable for families with large families.

Interior upgrade, comfort and technology coexist
Stepping inside, the BYD Tang DMI Intelligent Driving Edition's newly added "rosy - red dawn hue" interior color creates a warm and pleasant cabin atmosphere. The center console retains its wraparound layout, but now features an electronic hand-shift shifter, freeing up more central space and making operation more convenient. The sub-dashboard has been redesigned, featuring a matte finish and chrome buttons for a more premium feel and appearance. Notably, the car is also equipped with a smart heating and cooling refrigerator, perfect for storing cold drinks in the summer or carrying hot drinks in the winter. Furthermore, the wireless charging power has been increased to 50W, effectively solving the problem of slow charging and making travel more comfortable.
Smart driving upgrades, safety and convenience go hand in hand
One of the biggest highlights of the BYD Tang DM-i Intelligent Driving Edition is the upgraded intelligent driving system. A prominent lidar radar on the roof indicates that high-end models are equipped with the "Eye of God B System," which supports features such as Highway Pilot, City Pilot, and all-scenario parking assistance. Whether navigating long highways or congested urban traffic, it provides drivers with a smarter and safer driving experience. The "Eye of God C System" on lower-end models also enables basic functions such as adaptive cruise control, lane keeping, and automatic braking, more than sufficient for daily travel needs.

The power continues the hybrid advantage, and the high-end suspension is upgraded again
In terms of power, the Tang DM-i Intelligent Driving Edition continues to feature the fifth-generation DM hybrid system. Its 1.5T engine produces a maximum power of 115kW and its electric motor has a maximum power of 200kW, providing smooth and powerful power delivery. The battery capacity has been upgraded to 26.593kWh, providing strong support for improved pure electric range. High-end versions are also reportedly equipped with the Yunniang-C and rear five-link suspension combination, further enhancing vibration damping and body stability, ensuring excellent performance on rough roads and curves.
* In the fiercely competitive SUV market of RMB 200,000, models like the Lynk & Co 08, Ideal L6, Weipai Blue Mountain, Xiaopeng G9, and Highlander each have their own strengths. The BYD Tang DM-i Intelligent Driving Edition offers a more balanced approach, organically combining range, space, intelligence, and price to create a unique competitive advantage. As its launch date approaches, we'll have to wait and see whether its final price will impress consumers.
